Deepin Linux [distrowatch.org]

Linux Deepin is a popular and active Chinese community distribution based on Ubuntu and featuring the GNOME desktop and numerous usability enhancements. The first release candidate of Linux Deepin 11.06 was just released Saturday. Minor bugs concerning Chinese localization of the installer and auto completion of "sudo" commands have been fixed. SSH is now included by default installation but Gnome Nettool is removed. Gnome Mplayer is configured so that subtitles are loaded automatically for videos. Software Center is upgraded to the latest version and the ppstream software repository is added. Known issues revolve around localization and rendering problems, and Deepin volunteers are hard working on translating applications' documents. Bug reports are welcome.
